We flew down to Sydney from Darwin to have a few days with the families, the main reason being that our daughter, Angela, was to celebrate her 50th birthday. A much enjoyed time. The caravan has been left safely in storage at the Litchfield Tourist Park. On Saturday evening Angela and Tim, Paul and Alison, and ourselves went out to celebrate. First we had drinks at the O Bar, which is situated in Australia Square where the revolving restaurant is. The night time views over the city were spectacular as we slowly cruised past the bridge and all the lit up buildings. We then proceeded to Mr. Wong's Chinese Restaurant where we had a delicious dinner comprised of many small dishes. Duck Pancakes, Moreton Bay Bugs, various dumplings and many other dishes. Got home just before the promised storm broke. An excellent evening.
Sunday was Angela's birthday and she received some beautiful gifts from family and friends. Tomorrow we return to Darwin and continue our journey to West Australia.
